To date, five science fiction books are set in the “Highlord” universe. Cast in Steel, Carved in Stone is a prequel to For the Emperor. The other three books are: Highlord of Darkness, The Highlord’s Women, and The Highlord’s Daughter.
Cast in Steel, Carved in Stone received a 2003 Dream Realm Award, Highlord of Darkness was a 2001 Eppie Award finalist, and The Highlord’s Daughter was a 2006 Eppie Award finalist. All five books have received enthusiastic reviews.
